Mosasaurus were top predators in ancient oceans, with jaw strength surpassing even the largest crocodiles and doubling the length of a Great White shark.

Mosasaurus were a group of large, predatory marine reptiles that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 to 66 million years ago. They were closely related to modern-day monitor lizards and snakes. Mosasaurs had long, streamlined bodies adapted for life in the water, with powerful jaws and teeth for catching prey.
